look new again.

Professional pressure washing and soft washing in Marietta — the right method for every surface, from siding and decks to driveways and patios. One wash, years younger.

Why Messer Works

Small, local, and accountable — the way home services should be.

01

Thorough work

We clean and clear it properly — not a quick once-over to get out the door.

02

Accountability

If we say we'll be there, we'll be there. Our name is on the work.

03

Honesty

A real number up front and a straight answer about what your home needs.

What we do

One craft. Every surface.

Exterior cleaning is all we do — and doing one thing means doing it right. Two methods, matched to your surfaces, so everything gets clean and nothing gets damaged.

Soft washing the siding of a home Low pressure · For delicate surfaces

Soft Washing

High pressure destroys siding, paint, and wood. Soft washing uses gentle pressure and biodegradable cleaning solutions to kill mold, mildew, and algae at the root — so surfaces come clean and stay clean longer.

Pressure washing years of grime off a hard surface High pressure · For hard surfaces

Pressure Washing

For concrete, stone, and pavers, nothing beats real pressure. We strip away years of embedded dirt, oil, tire marks, and grime — and the difference is dramatic, down to the line.

Soft wash when it's delicate

Low pressure + cleaning solutions. Kills growth at the source instead of just blasting the surface — the professional standard for siding and painted wood.

Pressure wash when it's hard

High PSI where surfaces can take it — concrete, stone, pavers. Deep-cleans what a garden hose and a Saturday afternoon never will.

Not sure which your home needs? That's our job. Every quote includes a walk-around where we match the method to each surface.

Our story

A son's company. A father's hand to steady it.

Messer Works started with a simple idea: a young man who wanted to build something real, and a father willing to show him how.

Jackson Messer is the founder. He's a high-school student in Marietta — and already learning that a business isn't built on a logo or a slogan, but on showing up when you say you will and standing behind every job. Next year he heads to college in Georgia to study business, but Messer Works isn't a school project. It's the start of a company he intends to grow into a name his neighbors trust for years to come.

His father, Ryan, grew up here in Marietta and has spent his career building and backing companies across energy, medical, and other ventures. His role here is smaller on purpose: mentor, not owner. Ryan is helping Jackson launch — the standards, the hard lessons, the boring-but-important parts — with one plan from the very beginning. As Messer Works reaches its growth milestones, the company becomes fully Jackson's. The goal was never for Ryan to run a home-services business. It was to hand his son the tools to run his own.

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

That's the whole idea. Quality work, honest dealing, and a business built to last — and to serve this community long after the training wheels come off.

Questions

Things people ask us.

What's the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?

Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to blast grime off hard surfaces like concrete, stone, and pavers. Soft washing uses low pressure with biodegradable cleaning solutions to kill mold, mildew, and algae at the root — the safe way to clean siding, painted surfaces, and delicate materials. We do both, and we match the method to the surface every time.

Won't high pressure damage my siding or deck?

It can — that's exactly why we soft wash them. High pressure on vinyl siding, painted wood, or shingles can strip paint, force water behind the siding, and gouge soft wood. Anything delicate gets the low-pressure treatment; the high PSI stays on concrete where it belongs.

Are the cleaning solutions safe for my plants and pets?

We use biodegradable solutions, pre-rinse and post-rinse your landscaping, and keep pets inside while we work. Tell us about any garden beds or koi ponds when we quote and we'll plan around them.

How often should a house be washed?

In Georgia's humidity, most homes benefit from a wash every 1–2 years — algae and mildew grow fast here, especially on north-facing walls and shaded concrete. Regular washing keeps surfaces healthy and costs less than letting buildup set in.
